On Saturday, February 3rd, the Lady Scots Track/Field Team, dedicated two hours to the Voice of Hope. The captains chose the Voice of Hope as their Community Service Project for the season. The team filled containers with flour, sugar, and rice, organized the library, cleaned and organized the kitchen, organized the pantry and refrigerator, cleaned the playground, planted flowers, planted onions in the garden, and made Valentine cards and bags.
According to the Voice of Hope Ministries website, the after school “program provides opportunities for students’ personal growth and to develop meaningful relationships with peers and supportive, caring adults.” The team had an amazing morning working together and making a difference in lives of children that they may never meet.
It’s a great day to be a Lady Scot!
