The Lady Scots Cross Country Team packed meals for Feed My Starving Children on Saturday, August 19th. This is the fourth year the Lady Scots Cross Country Captains have selected this as the team’s community service project.
The team, along with other volunteers from the Dallas area, made hand-packed meals called MannaPacks. On Saturday, during the two hours of service, there were enough meals packed to feed 329 children for one year.
According to the FMSC website, “Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a Christian non-profit organization that provides nutritionally complete meals specifically formulated for malnourished children. Volunteers hand-pack the meals. Meals are donated to FMSC food partners around the world…”
